Teaching Course - EU Institutions and Integration Process

The annual teaching course EU Institutions and Integration Process was held at University of Gjirokaster from October to February and provided the participants knowledge on EU institutions and political and economic aspects of the integration process.

Intensive Course - Policy Making in Albania and the role of the integration process

The annual intensive course at IES was held from 19 to 25 April with the participation of Prof. Bernard Dosti. The course focused on the economic policies in Albania and its role in the integration process.

Intensive course - EU Integration issues in Climate Change field

In the framework of the “Europeanisation of Public Policies in Albania – EPPAL” implemented in the Jean Monnet Field of Action of the Erasmus+ Program, the intensive course was developed during the period March – May 2023 at the Faculty of Economy. The course aims to promote education on European policies for Adaptation to Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management among students of the Faculty of Economics and beyond. The development of the intensive course creates the basis for the integration of studies related to climate change and its consequences in university curricula at the University of Tirana, to enable high awareness of students on European integration issues related to climate, environment and sustainable development.

Intensive Course - EU as the drive force for socio- political transformation in Albania


The intensive course was developed during the period January – February 2024 at the Faculty of History and Philology. The course aimed to explain the role of the EU as a driving force behind Albania’s socio-political transformation that has influenced various aspect of the country’s development as it pursues EU membership. The development of the intensive course enhances the formative offer at the Faculty of History and Philology of courses related to the impact of the EU in Albania and enabled high awareness of students on the importance of the Albanian integration process.
